Director Chethan Kumar is all set to helm Ambareesh’s son Abhishek’s debut film. And according to sources, the makers are planning to title it as “Amar”, which is the real name of Ambareesh. However, sources close to the team say that the team has not yet confirmed on the title.
There have been titles such as Jalila, Nagarahavu, Amar, Tirugubaana doing the rounds. Most of it is either referred to his father Ambareesh’s name or related to his films. They are yet to decide which one to go with. The filmmakers will finalise the title in consultation with Abhishek’s parents and actors Ambareesh and Sumalatha, before the project gets rolling.
Chethan Kumar is currently working on the screenplay. The film will go on the floors in March. Chethan has directed two blockbusters “Bahaddhur” and “Bharjari.” Therefore there are expectations from this film. Sandesh Productions, whose last film was “Airavatha” is producing this film.
