A M R Ramesh will be working with Rana Daggupati on “Aaspota.” Now it has been revealed that Rana Daggupati’s production house will back the project. The project will be produced as a web-series meant for a global audience.
Rana, in association with director A M R Ramesh’s Vijetha Pictures, will be taking “Aaspota” to the global audience and Vijetha Pictures will be tying up with Netflix to make this a web-series. Rana and the director also seem to have decided to give it a global appeal by not restricting it to one language.
Since it is based on the real-life incidents surrounding former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi’s assassination, they want to keep it as close to the actual events as possible. The characters will speak in different languages, depending on where they are located. The dialogues will be in Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and English.
Touted to be a big-budget series, it will also have technicians from Hollywood.
