Raichur: In a big twist to the death of engineering student from the city Madhu Pattar, the postmortem report revealed that she was not sexually assaulted before her death. The report also confirmed that it is suicide and not murder, but the Vishwakarma community members informed that they will continue their struggle seeking a CBI investigation.
It can be recalled that the decomposed body of Madhu Pattar, a 23-years-old, civil engineering student of an engineering college of Raichur was recovered from a deserted place on the city outskirts on April 16. She went missing on April 13. The police arrested a youth in connection with suicide. The case is now being investigated by the CID.
No injury mark: According to the sources, the postmortem report pointed out that there is no injury mark on the body of Madhu except on the neck, which was caused by the rope used for committing suicide. No sexual assault was also committed.
According to the authorities generally, a dead body turns black after 48 hours of the death. Same is portrayed as murder.
“There are no footprints of any other person in the entire vicinity,” added officials.
According to the sources, on April 13 the day Madhu went missing, she had a fight with a youth.
But Vishwakarma community members informed that they don’t accept this report. “We knew that this kind of report will come. So instead of burning the body, we buried Madhu’s body. We want further investigation especially by the CBI,” said Maruti Badiger, a community leader.
