Raichur: At the DAV polling booth in Shakthinagar of the city, hundreds of people cast their vote while wearing black clothes as a sign of protest in connection with the mysterious death of the engineering student of the city last week.
The youth arrived at the booth in black t-shirts and shirts and shouted slogans against the police for the delay in the investigation into the case. They said that they were attributing their votes to the deceased girl.
Meanwhile, the CID police are continuing their investigation into the engineering student’s death. According to sources, the CID officials have met the Netaji Nagar police, who carried out the preliminary investigation and recovered the body.
