Raichur: The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) probing into the death of engineering student Madhu Pattar, produced the prime accused Sudarshan Yadav before the court on Thursday, May 2. The court has remanded him to judicial custody till May 14.
Yadav was in CID custody for five days before being produced before the court on Thursday, at 12.30 PM. The judge, after the hearing, ordered a judicial custody of the accused and he was shifted to the district prison.
Engineering student Madhu Pattar's dead body was found hanging from a tree near a temple on April 16. The government had handed over the case to the CID following massive protests across the state demanding a speedy probe into the case.
