Mumbai: The cooperator of Andheri, Ameet Satam held an indefinite hunger strike to protest the municipal commissioner’s decision to not allow decorative lights in his ward.
Satam had collected signatures of 8,500 citizens living in his ward supporting his demand for decorative lights as streetlights in his ward.
Satam asserted that the project was green lighted by the technical committee under experts from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and they had said that it was feasible.
