Mumbai: The first rehearsal for the Republic Day parade took place here at Marine Drive on Tuesday morning January 21.
However the unexpected rains did not hinder the rehearsal, while a gigantic number of spectators lined up on the streets to watch members of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Police, Fire Brigade, Home Guard and school children during the rehearsal.
For the very first time the rehearsal took place at Marine Drive, while every year it used to be organized at Shivaji Park.
