Sullia: A good samaritan from Mangaluru came forward to help of homeless in the recent lanslide in Kodagu.
The district administration had vacated 6 families from their homes due to fears of landslides. A total of 30 people are taking shelter at the house of good samaritan K P Roberts of Sullia. However, no goverment or public support has reached this place till yesterday.
After the news spread, Richard Moly D’Souza from Mangaluru donated clothes worth Rs 20,000 and gave the first ray of hope to these distressed victims of the deluge. Fr. Vincent D’souza, Fr. Paul D’souza from St. Brigids Church, Sullia and Stanly Bantwal were present.
