Belthangady: Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa, who was on a one-day visit to the flood-hit areas of Dakshina Kannada, on Monday visited Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatha Swamy Temple and offered prayers to Lord Manjunatha.
He was welcomed by Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala, Dr D Veerendra Heggade and his brother D Harshendra Kumar. He visited “Shri Sannidhi” guest house and had lunch.
Later, he chaired a flood review meeting with the district-level officers and directed them to carry out necessary relief operations and be alert regarding any issues connected to the floods.
After the meet, he left to Mangaluru.
