Bus rams into Kulur bridge, passengers escape tragedy

Mangaluru: A private bus plying from Surthkal via Chitrapura to Statebank, hit the Kulooru bridge here on Monday, January 15, in a manner that would have spelled certain disaster for all involved had it not been for luck. Luckily, everyone in the bus escaped with their lives. 

The bus went right through the balustrade of the bridge, stopping mere inches from the edge and hung precariously from the side of the bridge.

According to the traffic police, the driver lost control due technical difficulties in the bus.
