Karkala: The Agnila Badminton Club in Mudar, Karkala, celebrated its second anniversary recently.
Chairman of the Organ Donation Foundation and Chief Promoter of Pandit Health Resort & Spa, L Goel was the chief guest at the event.
On the occasion, Padmavati was feted for receiving this year’s President Award.
Later, a cultural programme, presided over by H H Parama Poojya Bharathabhushana Swasthishree Bhattaraka Charukeerthi Pandithachayavarya Mahaswamiji of the Jain Mutt, Moodbidri, was staged by the Govt school and Anganwadi children.
Rathnakar Poojari, Narasimha Bhat, Umesh Rao, Chandrashekar Kulal, Prasad Poojari and Harishchandra Nayak were present.
