The virus only wants to produce offsprings using humans on a 17-day cycle.
The only way to stem is therefore to have a TOTAL AND COMPLETE shut down of an entire country. For a minimum of 21 days. And open up when there are ZERO cases, meanwhile, guarding borders. Anything less will be counterproductive. And jeopardize the country.
Poor virus…it only wants to replicate and doesn’t kill. It is the human body’s attempt to arrest it by an overwhelming immune response called the cytokine storm that kills people. By attempting to shut down the lung where the virus is producing babies.
Testing, social distancing, hand washing, masking are all feeble minuscule attempts making the virus laugh at us.
We need to follow the Kerala model.
Trump, Boris, Sweden are all laughable. They are destroying their own countries.
We will pay a terrible price by shutting down in terms of financial loss, human misery, education pause. But its the ONLY way.
It is extremely hard for the poorest of poor who may not have had enough cash to stock up on food, medicine and other essentials for 21 days.
Even in this, the Kerala model excels in the hundreds of community kitchens implemented to feed those BPL… below the poverty line. No other country seems to have done it. Even the stray dogs are being looked after by police, as directed by the chief minister.
Way to go Kerala. The great concern is opening on April 14th.
Why do the bodies overreact and shut down a lung and kill a person…it an attempt to stem further community spread. That’s the larger picture. Which, unfortunately, the medical community seems to have missed the point. And we are ordering more ventilators, trying drugs, developing vaccines, constructing hospitals. No!
Just shut down!
