UAE: Thumbay Hospital – Ajman, the leading academic hospital under Thumbay Group’s Healthcare Division, launched its own privilege card for patients, the ‘Smiles Card’, on Saturday, April 28. Introduced as a ‘Year of Zayed’ initiative, the ‘Thumbay Smiles Card’ will entitle card-holders to a host of inpatient and out-patient discounts at Thumbay Hospital- Ajman. The Smiles Card is being launched for the benefit of patients who do not have medical insurance coverage.
Akbar Moideen Thumbay, Vice President of the Healthcare Division of Thumbay Group said that Smiles cards would be valid throughout the Year of Zayed, until December 31 2018. “Card-holders can avail discounts on consultations, IP procedures, radiology investigations, dental services/procedures, dietician consultation and ECG, by flashing their Smiles Card at the hospital,” he said, adding, “Thumbay Hospital – Ajman welcomes one and all to avail the ‘Smiles’ benefits.” The discounts will be applicable only to self-paying patients.
