UAE: Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture and Tourism will be organising a series of events celebrating India’s Independence Day at the city’s National Theatre from August 22 to 24.
The three-day ‘Jai Ho’ fest will feature a mix of comedy and Bollywood music.
Day one of the fest is bound to be rife with laughter as popular Indian stand-up comedians Amit Tandon and Biswa Kalyan Rath, who are well-known for their hilarious commentary on daily life, will kick off the festivities.
The second day of the fest will feature an enthralling performance by Bollywood singer Sunidhi Chauhan while playback singer Hariharan is expected to serenade the audience with classical songs on the last day.
