aidpost thumbay 4UAE: An aid post of Ajman Police was opened at Thumbay Hospital, Ajman on October 25 to facilitate fast and easy clearance of the patients’ police-related formalities.

The post was officially inaugurated by H.E. Major General Sheikh Sultan Bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, the General Commander of Ajman Police who was chief guest of the opening ceremony. Also present at the ceremony were Mohammad Abufara – COO of Thumbay Hospital Ajman, officers of Ajman Police and members of the hospital’s administration team.

Apart from RTA clearance in case of accidents, the aid post would also deal with hospitalizations in police cases and enable desk notifications, eliminating the need to either visit the police station or wait for officers to arrive.

Speaking about the permanent police office inside Thumbay Hospital, Akbar Moideen Thumbay, Vice President of Thumbay Group’s Healthcare Division said, “The new police aid post is an important addition to Thumbay Hospital’s patient-friendly services. Patients can now seek the help of the police as and when they require.” Mohammad Abufara said that with the setting up of the police aid post, the entire hospital building is now under round-the-clock surveillance of the police, providing additional safety to the in-patients.
