Dubai: ‘Konkan Yuva’ (Youth group of Mangalorean community) has taken an initiative to conduct a session for job seekers and those looking at career progression. The seminar will be held on Saturday, June 1, between 1 PM and 3.30 PM, at Mini Hall, St. Mary’s Church, Oud Metha, Dubai, UAE.
Expert speakers will share insider knowledge with UAE residents and expacts seeking a new career. ‘Konkan Yuva’ welcomes you to come and benefit from the program. There are two expert speakers for this session.
The speaker of the first session is Avil Pinto, Frieslan Campina (Rainbow Milk) and a part of ‘DubaiJobsHunt’ (Voluntary group). Avil has over 14 years of diverse experience in HR, Supply Chain, Sales and Operations across Banking, Hospitality and FMCG. He has been working as Regional Manager, Middle East Operations for a Dutch Company, for the past 8 years.
Avil is a motivational speaker, trainer and expert at FB live videos and has conducted 150 videos with over 400,000 views. He is the Vice President of Education at Arabian Dreams Toastmasters Club. He has a MBA in General Management from ICFAI, Dehradun and a Human Resource Management for Business from NCC, UK.
The second speaker is Ruth Mirium Fernandes, Head of Talent Management. Ruth is an Industry Leading, Executive Search and Contingency Based Recruitment Specialist, whose 23 years of consulting experience in the Indian and Middle East market has culminated in her present role where she heads Talent Management, the fourth pillar of Daksada.
As a veteran Executive Consultant, Ruth’s focus is on the selection of senior executive and managerial talent and has successfully completed hundreds of retained and contingency based assignments in her career. In addition, Ruth has in the past, managed and co-managed business practices, ensuring their success through innovation and on time service delivery.
An honors student both at the graduation and post-graduation level, she has specialized in psychology and is a trained guidance counselor. At Daksada, Ruth has initiated processes that are both client and candidate centric. The experiences of the last 28 years, providing consulting services to major multinational, regional and local organizations has provided Ruth with a depth of experience needed to truly understand her clients. Her achievements in providing strategic talent management solutions to her clients across a broad spectrum of industries have earned her recognition.
