KMCA organises 8th successive blood donation campaign

Doha: Karnataka Muslim Cultural Association, a non-profit community organisation, affiliated to Indian Cultural Centre under the aegis of Embassy of India, successfully organised its annual blood donation campaign, 8th Year of successive campaigns, on February 23 at Blood Donor Centre, Hamad Medical Corporation, Doha-Qatar.

The drive which was held from 8 am to 12 noon witnessed 40 voluntary blood donations after routine check-ups.

KMCA President Abdulla Monu Moideen, along with Vice-President Aisha Rafique welcomed the Chief Guest ICC President, Milan Arun, Mohd. Nabi, ICC affiliated organisation members & KMCA senior patrons.
Dr. Mukhtar from PHC Hamad Medical Corporation, enlightened the donors and the gathering about the health benefits through blood donation followed by a Q&A session. Chief Guest Milan Arun and Mohd Nabi respectively delivered motivational speeches on the blood donation drive and expressed their gratitude to the donors.

On behalf of the KMCA Executive Committee Members, Ahmed Saeed Assadi along with Fayaz Ahmed expressed thanks to the voluntary donors, the esteemed Guests and the gathering. Logistics for the campaign was provided by KMCA Logistics team coordinated by Ismail Abubacker, Zakir Ahmed & Nizan Abdulla.
