Dubai: The Jebel Ali Assisi Konkani Community (JAKC) will be presenting “Konkan Dabazo 2018”, a fun filled Konkani entertainment programme in the parish hall of St.Francis of Assisi church, Jebel Ali , UAE, at 7.30 PM on Thursday, February 1.
JAKC is organising this event with the intention to promote Konkani language and culture.
Noteable musicians from all over UAE will be playing for the live band. Well known actors of Dubai-Joel, Joyline, Roystan, Frankith (Konkan Tharam Dubai) and other notable artistes from Jebel Ali will present comedy skits to make the spectators laugh to the fullest. Dances will be performed by Nickson and group who were members of Nachch Sobhan along with other talented parishioners of Jebel Ali.
Vernon D’Souza and Nisha Sequeira, well known MCs, will be compering the show.
The organisers have promised an evening filled with fun on the 1st of February starting 7.30 PM.
The organisers have requested all Konkani lovers to gather in large numbers and witness the event. The programme will end with a family dinner.
