Ras Al Khaimah: A Chartered repatriation flight from Ras Al Khaimah to Mangaluru organized by the All India Muslim Forum, landed at the Mangalore International airport carrying 182 adults and 2 infants which included the vulnerable like Pregnant women, those with medical emergencies, stranded visitors, those who had lost their jobs due to the COVID19 situation and those whose visas had expired.
The flight took off at 1:50 PM from Ras Al Khaima international airport. The National Spokesperson of AIMDF Shaikh Muzaffer and Bearys Brother President Mr.Naushad Siraj UT and Mr.Iqbal Kajoor along with their team of Asgar, Abdul Latif, Syed Naufil, Waqas, Azher, Fayaz, and Basheer assisted all passengers and made this journey for so many, possible. Mr.Basheer looked after the transportation and medical rapid test of the passengers, while Mr.Latif and Azher coordinated for issuance of tickets and other documents, and Fayaz and Waqas looked after the food arrangements.
It was early morning 4:30 AM when 4 busses picked up passengers at 2 pickup points in Sharjah and 2 in Dubai.
The Team leaders of organizations coordinated with the transportation team and helped all passengers reach the Airport.
Namma Kannadatiyaru team leaders Senthil, Mamatha, and Hadiya were present at the airport; they looked after the boarding. Mr.Naushad Siraj UT and Mr.Iqbal along from BBD looked after the administration work and back-office work from home late night and did amazing work. After reaching the airport all the arrangements were taken care of by the National Spokesperson of AIMDF Shaikh Muzaffer with due diligence.
From day 1, Saurab Bhankar and Darius Washington of Spicejet gave their 100% to fly this charter and also was in close contact with Shaikh Muzaffer during the operational date of flight and helped them to clear all 182 passengers and 2 infants.
Ashwin Hebbar from Apna Holidays looked after AIMDF passengers quarantine in Mangalore, Udupi, and Bhatkal. Jakti Travels India also supported the team by providing passengers with help during the quarantine in Mangalore.
Upon reaching of flight at Mangalore International airport the entire AIMDF executive team was present at the airport and welcomed all the passengers. The welcoming team included Shakeel Hassan, Naseer Ahmed, Abubaker Sajipa, and Asif Chokkabettu. With the support of BBD Ashraf Kinara also welcomed the passengers and distributed free food kits to all the passengers.
Imran Khan Yermal and Ansar Barkur looked after media coverage and extended their support during this repatriation journey.
Later on, passengers were taken to their assigned hotels for 7 days of institutional quarantine as per GoK health Guidelines.
The All India Muslim Development Forum and the Beary Brothers thanked Consul General India, Dubai Dr.Aman Puri, Ex-Deputy Commissioner of Mangalore Sindhu B Rupesh, IAS, and newly appointed DC of Mangalore Dr.Rajendra, IAS and all the Govt officials.
