Abu Dhabi: The Konkani community of St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Musaffah is gearing up for the second “Konkan Day” on April 20, after the grand success of the first edition last year.
The day long event will begin at 11.30 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi parish hall.
All Konkani speaking communities from across the UAE will find a platform here to display their talents. It is also an endeavour to keep alive the culture and traditions of the Konkani community among the youth.
During the day, there will be various events beginning with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist followed by the festivities like dances, dramas, brunch and lunch, songs and skits, prizes and more surprises.
The organisers of the event have extended an invite to all the members of the Konkani community to partake in the festivities planned for the day.
