Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Karnataka Sangha and Hridayavahini Mangaluru-Karnataka will be organising 15th Vishwa Kannada Sanskriti Sammelana on February 22 and 23 at Indian School Hall, Abu Dhabi from 10.30 am onwards.
The event will be presided over by Patron of UAE Kannadigas Dr BR Shetty. Minister Urban Development, Government of Karnataka UT Khader, Wakf Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan, Parliamentary Secretary Dr Ajay Dharmsingh, actor Mukhyamantri Chandru, Kannada Development Authority President Prof S G Siddaramaiah and Kannada Pustaka Pradhikara President Dr Vasundhara Bhoopathi will be the guests of honour.
Over 100 artists from various parts of Karnataka will take part in the event. A musical event will be presented by Kikkeri Krishnamurthy, Shivaraj Pandeshwara, Prakhyath Raj Mandya along with their teams. Mahadev Sathigeri Mimicry group will take the audience on a laughter ride.
Abu Dhabi Karnataka President Sarvotham Shetty and Vishwa Kannada Sanskriti Sammelana President KP Manjunath Sagar have urged Kannadigas in large numbers to take part in the event.
