Mysuru: Commuters to Tirupati will have more travel options from June as the South Western Railway will be introducing the new weekly express train between Mysuru and Renigunta. The service from Mysuru will commence on June 1 and from Renigunta on June 2. The new train will benefit the people travelling to Tirupathi as Renigunta is just 30 minute away from the popular religious centre.
Every Friday, the Mysuru-Renigunta express (train No 11065) will depart Mysuru at 10.55 PM and reach Renigunta on Saturday at 8.25 AM. Along the journey, the train will stop at Mandya Friday (11.33 PM), Bengaluru City (1.20 AM), Bengaluru Cantonment (1.35 AM), Jolarpettai (4.23 AM), Katpadi (5.33 AM) and Renigunta at 8.25 AM.
The train will leave Renigunta (Train No 11066) on Saturday at 5.50 PM and reach Mysuru on Sunday at 3.15 AM. It will stop at Katpadi (7.38 PM), Jolarpettai (9.28 PM ), Bengaluru Cantonment (11.43 PM), Bengaluru city (12.15 AM), Mandya (1.58 AM) and Mysuru (3.15 AM).
