Mysuru: The visitors and tourists will have to pay more during their visit to Sri Chamarajendra Zoological gardens in Mysuru on holidays and Sundays as the Zoo Authority has increased the entrance fee.
The fee has been hiked by Rs 10 to Rs 70 w.e.f. November 1, stated a press release. On other days entry fee will remain the same.
Those opting to travel on a battery driven vehicle will have to pay Rs 150 per head.
The 125-year-old zoo attributed the hike to increase in maintenance costs and increase in the number of animals and birds in the recent past.
