Mysuru: Prominent multi-lingual singer S Janaki has been admitted to hospital, here on Saturday, May 4.
She was admitted to a private hospital in the city, as she had developed severe pain in her pelvic region.
According to her close sources, earlier, she had visited her relatives’ house in the city, where she slipped and fell on the floor, injuring her pelvis.
The pain became unbearable yesterday, because of which she had to be rushed to a private hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, praying for her speedy recovery, veteran music composer Hamsalekha on a social media platform, has said that Janaki had suffered a crack on her pelvic region and that the doctors had recommended a surgery.
“Janakamma (fondly called in the film fraternity) has undergone a surgery as per doctors’ recommendation and I request all her fans to pray to God that she recovers soon and gets back to normal”, he said.
According to her family sources, she is under constant treatment and observation by the doctors.
S Janaki has sung a whopping 48000 songs in 17 different languages. She had recently announced retirement from the music industry.
