Mysuru: Senior police officers from the district launched an investigation after three dead bodies were found floating in the Varuna canal of the river Cauvery on the city outskirts.
Prima facie they look like bodies of an elderly aged about 55 years, a young man aged about 22-years and a young lady aged about 20 years.
The bodies were found floating on Monday late evening and immediately the locals alerted the police, who have now launched an investigation. Police informed that they are trying to find the reason for the death and the address of the deceased. A post morterm is scheduled today noon at the KR hospital of the city.
