Thirty candidates file fifty nomination papers for Mysuru Lok Sabha constituency

Mysuru: Including sitting BJP MP Pratap Simha who on Monday, March 25, filed two nomination papers and filed two more nomination papers on Tuesday, March 26, a total number of 30 candidates have filed 50 nomination papers for Mysuru Lok Sabha constituency.

The filing of nomination papers began on March 19, with just six nomination papers from three candidates until March 25. The nomination gained momentum only on Monday, with 12 nomination papers being filed by seven candidates including Congress party’s CH Vijayashankar.

Among the 30 candidates who have filed 50 nominations, three are women, who have filed four nomination papers including two from PS Sandhya.

Those who want to withdraw nomination papers should withdraw on or before March 29 which is the last date to withdraw.
