Suraj bagged the first prize in civilian gun training trials

Mysore: Suraj won the first prize in civilians gun training trials, held at Mysore City’s Armed Forces Field in Chamundi Hills.

Over the past one week, 40 people have been trained, Jogi Manju and Niveditha Prasad won second and third place respectively in the shooting.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Chandra Gupta, the City Police Commissioner, said ” In today’s era, not everyone has the opportunity to use a gun. The joy of using a gun for the first time in life is really special. But one must act with responsibility after owning a licensed Gun and been trained in using that.
He said that all trainees should aware of the procedures of licensing guns, and we must ensure that they should not be used for illegal activities.”

He advised the youth to join the police force and serve the country.

Sivaraj, Deputy Commissioner of Mysore City, Srihari, Trainers Channabasawa, Sridhar were present.
