Mysuru: The state government will be constructing 4 lakh houses including 1 lakh in Bengaluru alone. The foundation for the proposed project will be laid on January 26, 2019 in Bengaluru, said Urban Development and Housing Minister U T Khader. Apart from this, to facilitate getting NOC and license, a Single Window System will be launched across the state by Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy in Bengaluru on December 15.

Speaking during the two-day second edition of New India Summit ‘Emerging Cities, India’s Future’ organised by CREDAI at the newly constructed KSOU Convocation Hall here on Thursday, December 6, he said, “I have come here to gather feedback on developing better cities throughout India. Soon after I took charge as housing and urban development minister, I have instructed my department officials to be more efficient and eradicate middlemen in the office.”
