Mysuru: Due to the temporary stoppage of Varanasi train, the railway authorities, as a stop-gap arrangement, will be running a special weekly train from Mysuru to Rewa from June 28 to July 22.
Due to civil engineering works on Varanasi section, the Varanasi Express has been temporarily suspended. For time being, the railway authorities have decided to run Mysuru- Rewa-Mysuru train for four trips. Every Thursday (June 28, July 5, 12, 19) it will depart from Mysuru at 7.20 AM and reach Rewa on Saturday at 5.15 AM. On return destination, it will depart from Rewa every Sunday (July 1, 8, 15, 22) at 1.30 AM and reach Mysuru on Tuesday at 2.50 AM. The special train will have 16 coaches which include 2AC-1, 3AC-2, Sleeper -9 and General-4.
Enroute to Rewa, the train will have stops at Mandya, Kengeri, KSR Bengaluru, Yeshwantpur, Tumakuru, Arsikere, Kadur, Chitradurga, Ballari, Guntakal Adoni, Mantralayam Road, Raichur, Krishna, Yadgir, Wadi, Gulbarga, Solapur, Daund, Ahmednagar, Kopargaon, Manmad Jn, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Pipariya, Narasinghpur, Jabalpur, Katni, Maihar and Satna.
