Mysuru: Siddaramaiah told me to be wary of Pratap Simha and not to trust him easily, said Karnataka Minister for Housing Department V Somanna.
The remarks were made at a press conference jointly organised by MP Pratap Simha and V Somanna, after the successful completion of the Nada Dasara festival in Mysuru on Wednesday, October 9.
Speaking to mediapersons, Somanna said, “I had called Siddaramaiah two or three times for advice before the preparations for Dasara began. At that time, he told me to be careful with Pratap Simha and not to believe him easily. He also told me that he hoped we would organise the Dasara festival well.”
Somanna also thanked the Chief Minister, as well as all the MPs, MLAs, and party leaders, for helping them pull off a successful Dasara.
“I used to think that Dasara means procession. I never knew that it takes so much effort to organise the programmes. The entire Dasara was a success and the credit goes to CM B S Yediyurappa and Mysuru MP Pratap Simha,” he added.
Somanna further said that he had to resume the duties of Housing Department Minister from tomorrow and travel across the state to listen to the problems of the flood victims.
