Mysuru: Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is frustrated after losing assembly election in Chamundeswari. Hence he will make sure all JDS candidates including JDS Supremo HD Devegowda too tastes defeat in the Parliament election, said former minister and BJP leader B Sriramulu.
Addressing media persons at BJP party office here on Sunday, he said, “The demands of Pariwar and Talwar community members demanding ST tag for their community will be met at the earliest. Already it has been passed in Lok Sabha and in next session, which will be held in the month of July or August we will try to get it passed in Rajya Sabha. It was more than 35-year-old demand from the Nayaka community members”.
We will win more than 300 seats: “We are confident of winning more than 300 parliament seats including 24 parliament seats in Karnataka itself. To ensure winning of 24 seats, under the leadership of Yeddyurappa and other senior leaders we are going all out in our effort. There is a lot of differences among the Congress and JD (S) leaders and there were instances where JD (S) workers are seen favouring Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” added Sriramulu. He also mentioned that sitting MP from Mysuru Pratap Simha will surely be re-elected.
“BJP’s Srinivas Prasad who is contesting from Chamarajanagar will also register a victory in Chamarajanagar as there is no much developmental works undertaken at Chamarajanagar by sitting MP Dhruvanarayan” added Sriramulu. He also mentioned that after the parliament election, the coalition government in the state will fall.
Sriramulu, who is also known as Nayak community leader will campaign in Mysuru and Chamarajanagar. Srinivas Prasad and Pratap Simha were present during the meet.
