Mysuru: After exactly ten years, Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi is all set to visit Chamarajanagar on March 24.
He had, however, in 2008 visited BR Hill near Chamarajanagar for the assembly election campaign, this time he will be in Chamarajanagar to attend rally at Chamarajanagar Town stadium itself.
Speaking to Newskarnataka, Mari Swamy, President, Chamarajanagar District Congress Committee said “Rahul Gandhi will be taking part in the rally at Chamarajnagar Town stadium where more than 30,000 people will be attending. The preparation for his visit is on full swing. After taking part in the public rally he will be taking part in the road show at Maralli, Yellandur and Kollegal. Later, he will depart to Malavalii”. It can be brought to light that the Congress won all the four assembly election in Chamarajanagar district.
Senior congress leaders including chief minister Siddaramaiah, state congress president Parameshwara, Member of Parliament Dhruvanarayan will also be attending the rally at Chamarajangar stadium.
