Siddaramaiah is supposed to tour Kodagu district on Wednesday, September 4 and hence he was in Mysuru. Here he addressed the reporters and was proceeding when the incident took place. The video shows a party worker identified as Ravi approaching Siddaramaiah and handing over the mobile phone to the former CM. Within seconds, Siddaramaiah is seen violently giving the phone back to him and slapping him. It is said that Ravi had dialled someone and urged Siddaramaiah to speak. This raged the senior leader. What has left the people wondering is who may have been on the other end of the line?

Earlier, speaking to reporters, Siddaramaiah said that what has been done to DK Shivakumar was incorrect.
