Mysuru: Here is an opportunity to study an 11-month Post Graduate Programme in Sports Management (PGPSM) through a scholarship. PUMA has come forward to extend financial support to enthusiast young graduates looking to take up the Post Graduate Programme in Sports Management (PGPSM) offered by Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwar Institute for Management Development (SDMIMD) and Center for Sports & Management Studies (CS&MS).
PUMA, the third largest sportswear manufacturer in the world and a German multinational company that designs and manufactures athletic and casual footwear, apparel and accessories, has come forward to extend financial support of Rs. 2,50,000 to the young sports enthusiasts who wish to enrol for the PGPSM program offered by SDMIMD and CS&MS, towards the program fee. Graduates with achievements in sports are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
MM Kamakshi, Coordinator, PGPSM said, “The candidates who successfully complete the programme will be provided placement support by CS&MS. PUMA will also be offering jobs to meritorious students.” The maximum intake for the course is 20 students, among which two meritorious students with sports achievements will be given a PUMA scholarship.
