PM’s visit: Public movement in Mysuru Railway Station to be restricted

Mysuru: Special security arrangements have been put in place in wake of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Mysuru Railway Station on Monday.

In this regard, most of the trains will be departing and arriving on platform No 5 and 6. Due to security reasons, passengers are requested to use the second entry, that is through railway museum to enter the Railway station.

Modi will be in the city to inaugurate electric and double line between Mysuru and Bengaluru and flag off Palace queen Humsafar Express between Mysuru and Udaipur at 3.30pm. Till his departure from the station, public movement will be restricted. For the convenience of train commuters, additional booking counters have been opened at the other entry to Railway station from Railway Museum end. The stop gap arrangements will be only on Monday between 9am and 4pm.
