Mysuru: Sri Vishwesha Teertha seer of the Pejawar Mutt, who is also an advisory board member of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, stated that the new government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi must give importance to the construction of the Sri Ram temple in Ayodhya and the ban on cow slaughter.
Speaking to reporters in Hunsur of the Mysuru district, he pointed out that all these days, the opposition parties termed the BJP as the party of Hindus. “But this time, all the communities voted for the BJP and NDA. The BJP should not forget its assurances,” he said.
“I think the people are fed up with the vote bank politics and caste divisions by politicians. This result reveals the same,” he added.
