Mysuru: Superintendent of Police CB Rishyanth has informed that top officials of the taluk and MLA of HD Kote have gone into quarantine for a week.
MLA Anil Chikkamadu and officials like tahsildar, circle inspector and other officials had taken part in the preliminary meeting on Kempegowda Jayanthi. With the circle inspector testing positive, all the persons who took part in the meeting, including the MLA, officials and journalists have gone into quarantine.
Sources close to the MLA said that he will be available over the phone for interaction.
