Mysuru: A man from Mysuru hacked his wife to death at Katnalu of KR Nagar on Sunday for a shocking reason.
The deceased is Neelashree, 28. Neelashri was married off to Devaraju from Katnalu village about eight years ago. The couple have two daughters and this ended up being the reason for Neelashree’s death. Sources say that Devaraju was upset that Neelashree could not give birth to a boy child. Irked by this, he had been harassing her for a very long time.
However, the fights took a tragic turn on Sunday when Devaraju lost his cool and strangled Neelashree.
The neighbours who got an inkling about the happenings informed Neelashree’s parents about the same.
Neelashree’s brother, who rushed to the spot filed a police complaint and got Devaraju arrested.
