Mysuru IETW receives Most promising student branch chapter award

Mysuru: IEEE Circuits and System Society Student Branch Chapter of GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women, Mysuru has received IEEE CAS Bangalore Chapter-Most Promising Student Branch Chapter Award in recognition towards outstanding performance in conducting various activities for the benefit of students, faculties, researchers and IEEE members during the year 2019. This award was announced by IEEE CAS Bangalore Chapter during Annual General Meeting 2021during (Virtual) on 09th Jan 2021.

GSSSIETW IEEE Student Branch has organized many technical and extracurricular activities for the benefit of students. Resource persons have been invited from reputed industries and institutions to act as jury members for the events organized. IEEE Student Members have encouraged volunteers in organizing such events and also they are motivated to participate in various seminars, workshops, conferences and societal activities.

The award was conferred based on the number of quality professional meetings, continuing educational activities, conferences, workshops, distinguished lecturer Program conducted, number of IEEE student memberships and the number of students who took part in the activities held by the IEEE, Student Branch of GSSSIETW, Mysuru. Dr G. Manjula, Associate Professor, Dept. of ECE, GSSSIETW is the faculty advisor of IEEE Circuits and Systems (CAS) Society Student Branch Chapter GSSSIETW. Puneet Kumar Mishra, Chair, IEEE Bangalore Section, Dr Devesh Dwivedi, India Site Head, IP Development and Design Centre Of Excellence, Global Foundries, BangaloreChair-Elect, CAS Bangalore Chapter Dr Jalaja, Asst. Bangalore Institute of Technology, Bangalore. IEEE Student Branch Counsellor, Dr Parameshachari B D, Professor & Head, Dept. of Telecommunication Engineering, GSSSIETW were present in the event.
