Gundlupete: A conductor of a KSRTC bus died on the spot and two others sustained injuries in a road mishap near Bheemanabeedu village on January 29.
Siju (35), conductor of Mysuru-Calicut bound bus is the deceased. Shrinivas from Kushalnagar and Varguese from Bengaluru were injured in the mishap.
The mishap took place on Monday morning when the bus was moving towards Gundlupete after the driver lost control over it. Consequently. the bus hit a bridge and fortunately did not fall into the ditch due to the protective wall.
Circle inspector H N Balakrishna, PSI B S Shivarudra and team rushed to the spot. A case has been registered at the town police station.
