Mysuru: BJP MLA for Mudigere MP Kumaraswamy is accused by his wife of not allowing her into his house.
Kumaraswamy was in the news a couple of years ago for beating up his wife in public over an alleged extramarital affair.
His wife Savitha approached the family court seeking a divorce. However, the court asked the MLA to allow his wife into his house within one month of pronouncement of the judgment.
Three months have passed since the judgement and there is no sign of Kumaraswamy allowing his wife into his house.
Mother-in-law of the MLA, Premakumari said that they will approach the Assembly Speaker over the issue and will take out protest rallies to the MLA’s as well as Yeddyurappa’s house.
If he cannot respect and take care of his wife what can his voters expect from him? The BJP leaders, who speak about safeguarding women’s rights, must stand by my daughter,” she added.
