Mysuru: The Forest officials who nabbed the culprits in the recent tiger poaching case, have got a pat on their back from none other than Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Prakash Javadekar.

It may be recalled that a corpse of a tiger was found in a mutilated state in Kallahalla of Nagarahole Reserve Forest area about one week ago. It was evident that the poachers wanted to pull out the nails of the tiger, which fetches good money in the market and had hence cut off four paws of the big cat.

On September 5, the forest department nabbed four persons in the case, including the prime accused.

After this, Javadekar took to twitter on September 6 to congratulate the team of officials who nabbed the accused.

“Well done, Forest staff ad officers of Nagarhole Tiger Reserve for abbing all the culprits responsible for poaching the tiger, in such quick time,” the tweet read.
