Mysore: The Mysore City Corporation (MCC) Commissioner has issued orders to all commercial building establishments to allow parking for vehicles, free of cost.

The order comes in the wake of complaints against building owners on charging hefty parking fee and misusing parking space for other commercial activities, thereby deviating from the MCC guidelines after obtaining license. This has caused a lot of inconvenience to vehicle owners, who end up parking their vehicles on busy city roads, resulting in traffic snarls.

The commissioner in his order, has warned of serious action including withdrawal of license in case of violations by the commercial establishments, in case of future complaints from the public on parking fee.

Meanwhile, MCC has asked Reliance Company to clear a whopping Rs 76 Crore in dues immediately, failing which it has warned of severing all telephone links.
