Mysuru: In a rare incident, a 43-old-man died after taking a pill for blood pressure and heavily consuming alcohol.
The deceased has been identified as Revanna, a resident of Vidyanagara.
A native of Ala Sri Katte Hundayavana of T Narasipura, Revanna was living in Vidyanagara and working for MDCC Bank in T Narasipura.
As Revanna was suffering from diabetes and blood pressure, he was under medication and used to consume pills but he was an alcoholic too.
On September 8, Revanna fell ill after consuming alcohol and he had taken a pill for BP as well. Immediately, he was admitted to K R Hospital but having failed to respond to the treatment, he died in the hospital.
A case is registered in T Narasipura police station.
