Man arrested for selling narcotics in the city

Mysuru: CCB police have arrested a man who was selling narcotics in the city and seized 257 grams of narcotics from him.

The miscreant has been identified as Sumeraram Alias Sumer, originally from Rajastan and now a resident of Netaji city of Alanahalli, Mysuru. On a tipoff that Sumeraram was selling drug opium near The Dawn Hotel on the Mysuru-Bengaluru, the police reached the location and arrested him.

Under the guidance of Mysuru City DCP AN Prakash Gowda, the CCB team has carried out the operation. Rs 10,000 worth 257g narcotics, Rs 2100 cash and one mobile phone were seized by police. A case of financial and drug crime has been registered at the police station.
