Mysuru: A 55-year-old lady was killed after she was attacked by stray horses while she was selling vegetables door to door at Gayathripuram here on Tuesday, December 18.
The deceased Parvathamma, wife of Late Kosaiah and a resident of Udayagiri leaves behind two sons and three daughters. Five stray horses were fighting on the road when all of a sudden, they attacked Parvathamma injuring her severely and she died on the spot. The residents tried to chase away the stray horses but it was too late. Before she was taken to hospital, she breathed her last.
The corporation authorities led by Dr. Suresh arrived at the spot and managed to take all the five stray horses in a vehicle and took them to the Mysuru City Corporation’s cattle shed which is at the sewage farm. MCC officials are on the look out for the horse owner.
