KV Sharath Chandra takes charge as IGP (Southern Range)

Mysuru: KV Sharath Chandra took charge as the IGP of Southern Range, on Wednesday, August 8.

KV Sharath Chandra who was serving as IGP of Eastern range was transferred to Southern Range, Mysuru.

Mysuru District Police Superintendent Amith Singh welcomed IGP KV Sharath Chandra, who after assuming office spoke to media and said, ” Stringent action will be taken against illegal activities. It has come to my notice that cases of highway dacoity are increasing, hence I will form a special team to crack this menace.”
