Mysuru: The Karnataka High Court has vacated a stay order issued by a local court in Mysuru for the construction of actor, Dr Vishnu’s memorial in Udbur of the Mysuru district.
The state government had sanctioned five acres of land for the memorial in Halalu village survey no 8. But a few villagers had moved the court against this and a local court in Mysuru had issued a stay order against the works.
The state revenue department had moved the High Court against the stay order and on Friday, April 12, the High Court vacated the stay order, making way for the construction work to resume.
