Mysuru: The Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens in the city received five new guests in the form of leopards recently.
They arrived from Tyavrekoppa Lion and Tiger Reserve and are now housed in Koorgalli Animal Conservation and Rehabilitation Centre.
Named Siri, Motamma, Krithika and Surya, the leopards are getting accustomed to the new atmosphere and are slated to be in good health.
Increase in the population of leopards in Tyavarekoppa reserve under Shivamogga forest division forced the authorities to move them to Mysuru including the unnamed one.
Visitors to the zoo can enjoy watching the new inmates in few days time.
