Mysuru: In a rare incident, a son has filed a theft case against his father for allegedly stealing Rs 10 lakhs from his car in Krishnaraja police station limits on Tuesday, December 22.
Ruparam, father of Nihal, a resident of Ramanuja Road is now facing theft charges. In the complaint, the son alleged: “When I had parked my car in front of my house, my father robbed Rs 10 lakhs using a duplicate key.”
However, the twist in the tale is that Ruparam has filed a counter complaint against his son for assault.
The accused father stated in his complaint that when he was standing in front of his house, his son Nihal, wife Geetha and few others assaulted him for no apparent reason.
